หนุ่มน้อยฮิโรเสะ ทาคุมะ ผู้ซึ่งเป็นชายตาบอด ได้ย้ายเข้ามายังโรงเรียนที่ห่างไกลจากตัวเมือง(แถวบ้านเรียกบ้านนอก) และจากนั้นเขาก็ได้พบกับเด็กผู้หญิงใหม่หลายๆคน โดยเฉพาะ “โคฮินาตะ ฮายามิ” ผู้ซึ่งโดนผู้คนในหมู่บ้านเกลียดแต่กลับเป็นคนที่สนิดกับทาคุมะมากที่สุด
